Yep, society has been slow dragged into a new way of thinking sex is a performance art. Perhaps it should be in a way, but not in the emotionally disconnected norms that flood the eye and ear gates of so many who are not savvy enough to know the diff between that and intimacy.

I think you've hit the nail on the head, perception is reality. The Internet is turning relationships into fantasy, both sexual and otherwise.
Indeed, people need to be authentic to the relationships they have and not put perfect expectations of romanticized sexuality onto each other.
I wholeheartedly agree Sis and that D/s world ain't half stepping on fantasy life either!
I just think a lot of this instant gratification/perfect objectification shit is diminishing the bond of person on person and magnifying (and epitomizing) the sexual "professional". Maybe I need to go sit my vanilla ass down. lol
